Playing the “Herta” pattern in groupings of 3′s, 5′s and 7′s.
Learn to play the opening drum groove and a variation from the song "Bleed" by Meshuggah. The "Herta" pattern which has be taken from military style drumming has been applied to this song except on the bass drum. The "Herta" is typically played in groups of 3. This lesson demonstrates how it can also be played in 5's and 7's and also different combinations.
