
In lesson we look at playing a pattern of solid 8th notes between the kick and snare drum with the hats as a single measure/bar drum break. This is a cool idea in which you can experiment with a number of ideas without venturing too far from the main groove. You can also use this concept for making up some interesting drum beats, or mix them in into a 2 bar drum groove.
