Twelve Fun Drum Fills to Play Today


Each set of four drum fills below share the same rhythms but re-orchestrate those rhythms around the toms and crashes.

These twelve fill ideas sound great and can be played today (with some practice). However, take note of the re-orchestration techniques used to create the fills. Then, try to create your own fills, starting with a basic rhythm on the snare drum and building upon it.
