Settle down MGBD... ..settle down.  ;)

That IS a nice looking set of drums.  I'm like bigger drum sets (7-10 piece sets), as a rule, but I am starting to learn to really like the simplicity of a smaller set of drums.

Really nice set of drums Zel.

you can pick up 80s premier elites pretty cheap these days, my kit has 4 concert toms bass drum and floor tom, only cost £150 ^^

need a fair few more parts yet to make the 14 and 15 toms double-headed though.

gonna see mike ellis when i get the cash ^^

I'm in the process of making a Resonator set in the same (?) sizes. I'm guessing the rack is a 15x12 judging by the regular issue (at the time) 3 point marching frum lugs. 24" BD and 18" floor. Am I wrong?

My set is in red sparkle lacquer but with the 436-20 "spearhead" floor tom lugs throughout - including the bass drum. (!!!!!)

I'm also going to be making a double head set from a 70s concert tom  D717 kit (13/14/15/16/18/24) in tri-band gold/red/gold sparkle.
