It works just fine. No different than if you were across the street (it seems).

Painkiller - who I've been working with for the last month - is in the Netherlands and I'm on Phoenix. It's as if he's in the other room.

And I can confirm this! At this moment we are using Skype for the connection (Skype is freeware and free to use between Skype users). Video and audio quality are good. Almost no delay or distortion. And I don't even have a very fast internet connection!

The lessons are very good. YT knows what he is talking about and is good in explaining. I'm a beginner (playing the drums for 6 months now) and I've learned a lot already. After each lesson I got a pdf by email with the summary of the lesson, so you can practice. With any questions you can email YT.

So for me, I'll stick to the lessons once a week!

  • Bands:I work with a local group that is one of the busiest groups in Phoenix, AZ. I also do occasional sub-work, studio work and work with a few other talent agency situations.
  • Brands:Not a big "brands" guy..It depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm all FUNK, sometimes I'm ll PINK FLOYD. I enjoy most anything..and I'll play most anything if it's reputable. Your sound comes from your fingers first.

Wow! We've had a pretty good response so far and a good group of people interested.

It's also been a bit confusing.....as I am dealing forwarded emails with unfamiliar names, time zones, different countries and in most cases forum monikers. IT'S DIFFICULT TO KEEP EVERYONE SORTED OUT! LOL

It's difficult to contact people - as it's not like I can just call you on the phone - so there's a bit of a lag in between emails and communications.

Factor in that I've played 4 gigs in the last 5 nights too....plus my regular base of students.

If you've contacted Nate and not heard from me....(I'm 99% I haven't missed anyone) please message me HERE on this forum.

I'm still trying to get the schedule ironed out....which is why I've not necessarily solidified everyone yet...I've got some folks that are trying to work there schedules out to to make it work.

We will.....!

It may be a bit crazy at first....but this will work out just fine once all the dust settles!

I'm excited!

Here's a look at what I see when we do a lesson on line.
