how would you tune a head like that? You couldn't use the same technique you would on a standard head could you? cause of the corners?

Can't imagine you'd be able to tune those things very well, thats probably why they sound pants. Definitely unusual though.

Ahh,,,see......they usually take you back to the late 70's or early 80's.

Evans heads take you to far into the future. Aquarians take you right back to where you were when you realized you needed new heads.

Rather impractical. I can think of no way to mount the kick pedal to the tri-kick drum..
