Back in August I found an awesome deal on an old Pearl Export series kit and never figured I would ever top that. My son has been doing some recording with now three different bands and plays out with two different bands. He just bought a new Pearl Limited edition Masters series kit in Bubinga less than a year ago and didn't like the idea of moving that kit unless he was playing a gig. So to that end we started looking for an old "Beater Kit" to haul around. I found a guy selling a 5pc Premier kit for $250 and the pics looked good so I gave him a call and went to take a look on Sat Morning. It was all I could do to keep my mouth shut and not burst out in a Snoopy dance. The kit turned out to be a 1975 Premier in original Blue wrap, with all of the original Locfast Stands. The Drums were in imaculate condition for being 37 years old and the wrap is just in awesome condition. They have the old slotted style tension rods with cast rims all around. The Reso head on the bass drum was torn and I made the guy an offer of $200 and he took it saying that he really needed these gone to make room in his house as he didn't play them anymore. They also came with a Zildjian 22" Pitch Black ride, a Paiste PST3 18" crash and a pair of 13" Paiste PST3 Hihats. As we were loading it all up, he said hey wait a minute. I got all these Drum mikes I don't need anymore and you can have these too. It was a complete set of Samson mikes, 4 toms, kick and two overhead condensors. My son is coming over tonight to pick up the kit. It's a year older than he is LOL. I'll try and take some pics and post them later but I was wondering if anyone knew what these may be worth. Does any of you guys from across the pond have a Slotted drum key you want to sell?

Not very good from my iphone but it's all I could get on my way out the door. After replacing the head last night on the bass. I discovered it was a Resonater shell. The toms are just standard shells with rerings.
