About Me

I'm Nate Brown. Most recently I teamed up with Drum! Magazine and will be in every issue teaching cool stuff, including videos! My book, Alfred's Beginning Workbook For Snare Drum, is due to be out this coming January 2013, published by Alfred Publishing.

I founded OnlineDrummer.com in July of 2004 with the idea of providing drum teachers will materials to use with their students ... keep the students motivated and learning. Since then, the site has become much more. Both students and teachers enjoy the resources, and we've built a solid community, many would say the best drum forum on the Internet.

Through my work on OnlineDrummer.com I get to meet a lot of great drummers (and non-drummers), and I always seize the opportunity to learn as much as I can from their experiences.
