Thanks for the trouble you went to to get the ball joint. I had a go at repairing it with epoxy glue and it seems to be holding OK, at least good enough to carry a cymbal, not too sure about carrying a Tom though.

Thanks all for your comments. By the way, is it a good (or bad) idea to leave the toms hanging on top of the Bass while not in use ? They seem heavy enough to eventually distort the Bass Drum's shell. Silly question ??
