Ok so here is the deal . I started playing in. Deathcore/metalcore band . Now days is very popular for bands to us a 808 sub-bass drop , for breakdowns and heavy parts. Usually this is done by placing a e pad and conecting to module and thats it .
But here is the thing. I own a 6" vic firth practice pad that you can attach to a cymbal stand , i wanna see if i can use a trigger in that pad instead of buying a new e-pad just for one
Specific sound.
The pad is about 1" thinck and has rubber on both sides.
Have anyone tried this before? Is there a trigger for that or that can be attached to it?
If not ill but any generic e pad but i
Wanna try this first
Trigger on a practice pad.

Never heard of it being done before. You could always ask the guys at Vdrums, in the DIY section.
