I have to say, I'm way out of touch with gear these days. I play in a concert band, we're due a kit refresh, as everything is dropping to pieces. We need something that's pretty portable though. We've experimented over the years with electronic kits, but they just don't work well with the sound if they're inside our budget. Ideally, it needs to be a five piece. No idea what people#s thoughts are on stackable gear, always a bit dubious. Fusion sizes are probably most sensible as well. 

Any thoughts? Budget is likely to be less than £1000.
