Mission Impossible Theme

The classic theme from the 1960s TV series "Mission: Impossible" was composed by Lalo Schifrin, who jokingly said that it was written for people with five legs.
Each measure contains four hit-points, played on the bass drum, over 5 beats. Some people like to divide the 5/4 measure into a bar of 3/4 + 2/4. Alternatively it can be thought of as 6/8 + 4/8. Whichever way you cut it, it is a great groove!
The original 1960s version has been widely recognized as one of the greatest TV theme tunes of all time.
