Adding Low-End with the Low Tom
Description
This lesson explores two drum fill variations that incorporate the low tom in a syncopated, beat-style application.
The bass drum and snare drum placements remain the same in both variations while the low tom plays the role of changing the feel. The ghosted snare strokes are used as fillers to create a sixteenth-note pulse. However, they can be difficult to get used to. These fills also sound great without the ghosts.
