Creativity on the TomsNate Brown
Learn some exercises and techniques to get the most out of your toms.
These exercises are samples from Andy Ziker’s latest ebook, Funk Up Your Toms, which explores stroke types, applications, rudiments and how the toms have been used in songs.
The first groove in the lesson applies the right side of the double paradiddle to create a slick pattern between the low tom and snare.
The second groove is an example of how the toms are used in the intro of Move Along by All American Rejects.
