Rolling Through The Triplets


The second installment of our exclusive Musicians Institute Hollywood Spring 2017 drum lesson series, Tim McIntyre lets the rolls fly in this great application of the five-stroke roll based in triplets.

Tim McIntyre
Tim McIntyre graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Tim attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA graduating with Vocational Honors in 1987 and a recipient of the Yamaha "Outstanding Player of the Year" award. Since being invited to join the faculty at Musicians Institute, Tim has taught a wide variety of classes including all levels of Drum Performance, Reading, Jazz Drums as well as jazz improvisation workshops and clinics.
