Your Go-To Shuffle Drum Beat

On paper, this groove might look difficult. It might even sound difficult to play, but when broken down you'll realize that it isn't very hard to play at all. Ex's and Oh's - Elle King (notation by Steve Ley):
This shuffle pattern can be re-orchestrated around the kit to create a lot of different grooves. Once you're comfortable with the feel of the pattern, your options are almost limitless. I've included a few re-orchestrated examples below (as demonstrated in the video lesson).
