Snare Based Grooves

By Nate Brown

If you're having difficulty playing the rimshots, diddles, or hi-hat foot, these grooves still sound great with those elements left out. As always, start slowly so you can build the muscle memory needed to play at quicker tempos.

Groove number 6 incorporates a few tom strokes to add a syncopated melody layer on top of the groove.
