These snare grooves are based off sixteenth notes on the snare. To add another level of dynamics, play the snare accents as rim shots, except for the accent on beat 1. Having two levels of accents makes a more interesting drum beat. The more "colorful" your playing is, the more your drumming style will be unique and recognizable.
